Jobs that exist to clean up the mess selfishness creates. Leaders want to appear competent or powerful, so there are people whose job is to fix problems, people to pretend that they are actually doing something, and jobs that create work for people to do just because they can.
Most Advertising & marketing jobs are built on persuading people to selfishly buy things they don’t need or to feel superior by owning them.
Selfish behaviour makes jobs for mediators and customer complaints handlers.
