It would have to go back to High School when my mother bought me a pair of the ugliest brown long pants that looked like puke and were so far out of trend I cried and said I would rather never go back to school than wear them.
She won in the short run. I wore them once and got to buy my own clothes from that point forward.
When my elder brother was going to have a party with some of his friends from College, he actually asked me to come, I dont know why maybe out of pity, anyway I had no idea what I was supposed to wear so me and mum went shopping and bought a shirt and trousers which I presumed she knew what was needed.
I arrived at the party in some squirly black pink and purple satinet trousers and blouse, and they were all in jeans and shirts, I felt a complete plonker and although they were nice enough to talk to me I was so embaressed I hardly said a word to them.
Pink is always good.
