I knew what I didn’t want to be! Any physical labour was totally undesirable for me, except to be a professional hockey player. Little did I really understand just how difficult this would be watching two of my boys training for professional football!
In sixth form we were given the chance to make things with wood or metal.Practical stuff using my hands. I liked the metal work and enjoyed the heat , fires and molding of metal. I would like to have been a craft worker with either metal or wood.
