When I go swimming in the local swimming pool I tend to count the lengths I swim in my head,unfortunately if I talk to anyone in my lane the count goes right out of my head, so I then start to look at the clocks on the pool wall. One is analogue and in the middle, but I can’t see that as well as the digital one which I see at the end of ever second lap. I know I have to leave at 8am in the morning so stop swimming when the digital shows 8:00 and then see how many laps I have done when I get home from the swim watch they give me which doesn’t have a face at all. So digital works best for me in this case.
Analogue as there is no thinking.
Time is lived not measured.
My grandson asked what I meant when I said a quarter to 12.
I must be too old. I DON’T even wear a watch.
