Beating the in house expert on countdown.
I have never been more proud than wnen my eldest son at the age of 7 did his first Triathlan.
He wasn’t a great swimmer and was last after the swim, his bike was just a normal childs’ Raleigh bike and the track was very uneven, but even then he continued on to the next transition point, further behind than ever. He got off his bike and started to run, by this time almost everyone else had nearly finished but he doggedly carried on, alone and a long way behind.
He was applauded in as he passed the flag by everyone.
When my youngest son went for the first time on a train ride and holiday with only his friend. He was 13 the station was packed yet he made his way to the ticket booth bought the right tickets got on the right train and had a great holiday.
