I think it is more like ‘just in time’ rather than early or late but I do have to be reminded if I am engrossed in something else and have sort of forgotten that I need to get ready, then its all hands on deck double quick.
Always Early and will sit outside in the car if no-one else seems to be around for the event yet, no matter how cold it gets.
Being on time is a sign of courtesy. If you are late then you generally miss talking to the host/s, you end up within the group of free loaders that have already started on the food and drinks and usually you are stood up most of the time.
