Mattersey (and the next door Mattersey Thorpe) are another one of those seemingly endless villages in North Nottinghamshire.

The red telephone box in Mattersey is outside All Saints Church, at the junction of Abbey Road and Main Street. 

With All Saints Church built in the 1200's the telephone box invented in the 1900's and the new working telephone inside the box from the 21st century - 120019002000 would certainly give you lots of minutes.

On the Funkiest phonebox leaderboard, Mattersey crept in at number 5 on the list, just knocking Curbar off.
