Heather Vickery

Heather Vickery is a two time FUNKY THINKER. Heather is massively into GRATITUDE, being thankful for things you have.

She requests that at the end of every session, clients are required to WRITE DOWN ten things they are grateful for.

Heather has a new book coming out on 3rd December. Here is the link to find out more.

What are the FUNKQUEST rules?

Funkquest is a fun interactive online game that features five rounds. Each round consists of ONE FUNKY question. The player selects the icon which most tweaks their interest.  Each Funky visual has a Funky question.
The Funky insight is that the question may or may not be related to the icon.

SO potential Funksters have to think on their feet to score points. Points are awarded by me for FUNKY answers...

What's so good about FUNKQUEST ?

Funky Thinkers know that IDEAS only come from free-flowing CONVERSATION.
Listening (without prejudice) to new ideas and speakers from outside your usual network truly qualifies as FUNKY.
Each question has a strict time limit. So no multi-headed long and complicated self indulgent stories to endure.  Just short punchy bite-sized truly Funky ideas, as we GET THE FUNK OUT!

Q1. Heather had some reservations about which to chose. Eventually, she went for the man on the moon. The question is "What problem are you currently grappling with?"

Heather answered that she needed to make some changes to make sure her income was stable as a business owner.

We had a discussion about working in corporate and needing time off to look after your kids. Good luck with finding a job that works around school.

Heather has her kids 50% of the time.

50 points scored.

Heather correctly identified what we would call a football shirt but did not know which country. 1/2 point scored.

Total 50 1/2

Q2. Heather picked the typewriter. The question is "How many birthday cards did you get last birthday?"

Heather replied four and after a detour round what he kids do, she told us a story about her friend who runs an organisation called the birthday party project that goes and delivers birthday parties at homeless shelters and the like.

Heather donates $2 for each birthday wish received on Facebook. Last birthday, she received 100 messages.

100 points scored. VERY good start.

Q3. Heather picked the typewriter. The question is "What's some insider knowledge that only people in your line of work know about?"

That none of us have it together all the time. Heather did the worse thing possible - sent her kids to school with no lunch.

We all screw up - do better next time.

An excellent start with some solid answers. The clip about the birthday wishes and the homeless project is VERY FUNKY.

Good for 7th on the leaderboard which is looking very congested. It will surely take a special effort to unblock the log jam at the top.

PS Remember - Heather has a new book coming out 3rd December.
