My youngest was taken to a Man U Champions league game when he was 11 years old. He did not know he was going until his godfather told him when he arrived. It was an experience of a lifetime for him and to see his idol David Beckham play.
Like most top sports – Man United games are now just tourist attractions.
By the way – apparently, China’s top man Mr Xi like football. His favourite teams are Man United, Liverpool, Arsenal & errr Crystal Palace……..
When I was younger I was out playing with someone when my elder brother came and asked me if I wanted to go to a football match. I was playing of course so I said no.
