On my 50th birthday I was the person everyone wanted to talk to.
When we went over to France it was on one of those years when they were celebrating VE day in May and every time we walked into shop or town we were treated like VIPS
On my wedding day I was escorted to the church in a decorated Rolls Royce everyone on our street came out to watch and take photos of me. I felt like a princess.
