My Great grandad used to work on ships using flags to guide them ships Even now, years after retiring, he still talks about the beauty of it: the choreography of semaphore.
Often used to have to direct cars down or up our road as people and lorries would drive down it looking for ways get to the industrial area just down the street.
Now however there are a lot more road signs around.
Google Maps has allowed me to discover back alleys and nodes of North America I would have never seen without it. Now having swallowed up Wayze, Maps is even better, maybe my 3rd best friend?
