Back when I was working in the beer store in 1972 I deposited $10,000 cash into the banks lock deposit ($78,900 in todays money).
I also had to renegotiate a deal on behalf of Nabisco with Nestle for licensing Oreo and when agreed upon I picked up a $5,000,000 cheque in 1996.
Used to carry bags of £500 and more in 50 pence pieces… Imagine how heavy it was…
