Your global ranking:

  • Not exactly a stop button more of a brake and it was during my driving test so not really an emergency either.

  • got a chance to press an emergency button when I was allowed to press one for a practice emergency at school.

  • walking through an old scrap yard with a friend saw an old machine with a big red button who could resist, didnt realise it was still attatched to live wires, scarpered before anyone could come to turn it off. It was very loud.

  • My stop button was untraditional. I was 18 years old driving a 1957 Ford dump truck fully loaded with dirt. I had not yet learned how to downshift going up a hill.

I lost all power and started rolling back down the hill. So instead of a massive accident on this backroad I turned to the ditch. Like a runoff lane it stop. I got start again and made sure all was good.

    This NEVER happened again.
