When we first went to West Handley in Derbyshire, it was the middle of winter and freezing cold. What we found was NOTHING... But that only told half of the story...
Since then though, we have been in contact with local Funksters and suffice to say, the sun has come out in this small corner of North East Derbyshire. West Handley just consists of one road and villagers have turned it into an autonomous region. They have control over the street lights, the grass verges and they even give directions to pizza delivery people by directing them up or down the hill from the telephone box...
